Everyday there is a new blogger entering the blogosphere and I love to see people converting themselves into a blogger. This new blogger can be compared to a young child, this is because they often have lots of questions to ask. A young child might ask the mother; Where do babies come from? Why is the sky blue? What are stars made of?And the list goes on and on. Bloggers are just like that. They often have questions about blogging and searching for answers to which will help them to become a better blogger.

This is question can be classed as the million dollar question because it has been asked over and over again, even by the same new blogger more than once. We all know that the only way our blog is going to be successful is by having traffic, lots of traffic. Without traffic then our blog will be like a toy tossed in the back of the closet where nobody will see it. This is why new bloggers are so eager to get traffic to their new blog.

People are always online and are interested in may different things. You have to find the people who shares the same passion as you about the same niche. Using Facebook is a great way to do that. Make friends and start chatting with them, once you find something in common with the same niche as your blog, you can now share your blog link with this new friend and right there and then you have a new visitor to your blog. The same goes for Twitter.

With the social bookmarking sites, submit your blog or blog articles to these type of sites. Once your article catches the eyes of people on that social bookmarking site, you will have new visitors coming to your blog.

Another great place to get traffic to your blog is from forums. Forums of the same niche as your blog that is. What you need to do in order to get traffic from forum is to find a forum with high traffic that shares the same topic as your blog, as soon as you join go to the introduction forum and introduce yourself so that the existing members know that you are the latest member. Scroll through the forum and select topics that you know about and join in the discussion. The more post you make on the forum then the more the members will know you.

After that, you will edit your profile on the forum and then add your blog link to your forum signature. This link will now be available on each post that you have made. If you make helpful posts in the forum the members will know that you have been helpful and this will make them want to find out more about your blog, and visit your blog for more helpful information.

Other Blogs

Other blogs are the best way to get targeted traffic as well. To get traffic from other blog is very simple. All you have to do is make comments, upbuilding comments and other readers of that blog will want to visit your blog.

You can also participating in guest blogging. This is a super way of getting traffic. If you write really well then you can submit guest posts if that blog accepts guest bloggers and then you will benefit greatly in the long run.

Search Engine

People are always searching for something and they are searching for information that you have on your blog. To get traffic from search engine then you need to make good use of keywords on your blog posts, submit your site map to Google, get a high page rank and write original articles.

It is also best use keywords in blog post titles so as to rank better in search engine results.

You can browse forums and blogs of the same niche as your blog, this will get your thinking juices flowing so that you can even come up with at least 5 new blog topics at once.

It’s not always best to go for the affiliate program that pays you the most commission, because you might not make a single sale. It’s best to choose or join a program that has something to do with your blog. This way you can be better at marketing this product.

It’s best to market flowers pot, plant foods, and other things like those because you are dealing with flowers, not cats.
